IRELAND

Lord, the beauty I see of just one little piece of Ireland
Is so awesome and full of life
The green of the land, even the sky of grey
Is so beautiful and yet so rare.

The sheep that roam on the hills
Amid grass so soft and green
Remind me of my Saviour who is Shepherd of my soul
And leads me to green pastures and rest.

Though the skies are cloudy and grey
They will bring rain to water the land
And the seed that are sleeping will awake
Sprouting up and bursting forth with color and life

How I wish in reality I could be there in that slice of heaven
But it is not to be at least for now
One thing I do know though is that my Saviour is near
And He brings me to where His green pastures of the soul are.
