SILENT TEARS

Silent tears are shed
When all others are in bed
They slip quietly down
For no one to see but You and me

Your love so precious
Chases away the lonliness
It soothes my soul
And makes me feel whole

Though I have faltered
You are near and have heard
Those silent tears I shed
And Your love for me o’er spreads

For You gently remind me
These tears need not be
All I need to do when I am blue
Is turn back to You

I know You are with me
I should have let the thought be
For I was only feeling down
Because no one was around
