| I WONDER At night I go out for a breath of fresh air. The snow is melting, I hear it dripping. I wonder, the blood You shed, Could those who crucified You hear it? The night is so quiet, except for that. I think of the quiet when You died, Did all of creation hold it’s breath? When You breathed Your last on this earth? Did the dark skies then open up and pour down a deluge? Crying because You were silenced? I wonder what it was like to stand there. To see You on that tree. I may never know just what it felt like then, I only know what I feel now is great sadness. But because of Your dying, I now live. For You gave Your life for me. My Precious Saviour who died for me, I choose You because You now live Forever more to reign with Your Father on high, And to think, You live in me too. Your love knows no bounds. You have forgiven me for all I have done. You live in my heart forever more, My Precious Saviour, my Redeemer, and my Friend. Jeannine Faith |
