Love Broke Through

Love Broke Through

All the heartaches, sadness, pain, and loss,
it is sometimes to much to bear.
Feeling so low, hurting in my heart
and in my soul.
Crying out in my despair
pleading for it all to end.
Is there a purpose for all that
I have been through.

At my lowest You are there,
waiting for me to come to You.
You are calling to me, telling me
You will give me rest.
You will take my heavy burden away
and help me to cease labouring.
I have only to ask, but the child within,
is still so afraid.

But You gently work within my heart,
and show me You will help.
You bring people into my life who really care
because You are in their lives.
They are there, and show me the way
to Your Love and mercy.
But then they are gone and I think
I am hurt and abandoned once more.

Then Your Love breaks through
the gloominess of my thoughts.
And I remember how Loved and
precious I am to You.
Your love is in my heart and
mind and soul.
That You are always with me,
until the end of time.

All that I went through in the
bad times of my life,
Taught me to Love, with You in my heart,
and showed me I can Love.
All the suffering becomes bearable
and worth it
To know Your sweet Love and understanding
because You went through it too!
